Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 July 2026
Welcome to Applyd. Applyd is a job application tracker with AI-assisted features: follow-up email drafting, job posting extraction, recruiter lookups, and researched interview prep sheets. These terms are an agreement between you and Applyd. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Your account
You need an account (email and password) to use Applyd. Keep your password private: you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Applyd. If you believe someone has accessed your account, change your password in Settings and contact us.
2. Your content
The job applications, notes, resume text, and other content you put into Applyd remain yours. You give us permission to store and process that content for one purpose: running Applyd for you, including the AI features described below. We do not sell your content or use it to advertise to you.
3. AI features
Some features send your content (for example job details, your notes, your resume text, and your answers to prep questions) to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate drafts and prep sheets. Interview prep can also run web searches on the company and interviewer names you provide. Two important things to understand:
- AI-generated content can be wrong. Drafts and prep sheets are starting points for you to review and edit, not facts. Anything Applyd marks as “worth verifying”, especially information about a specific person, is a best guess that you should confirm yourself.
- You are responsible for what you send. Emails drafted by Applyd are sent from your own email account, by you, and you own that decision and its consequences.
AI features have monthly usage limits, shown in the app. We may adjust limits over time to keep the service sustainable, and we will show the current limits in the app when we do.
4. Recruiter lookups
The recruiter finder (a Pro feature) looks up publicly available business contact information through Hunter.io based on a company domain you confirm. You agree to use any contact information lawfully and respectfully: genuine, individual outreach about your own job search. Bulk messaging, spam, harassment, or any use that violates anti-spam laws is not allowed and is grounds for closing your account.
5. Pro subscription and billing
- Applyd Pro is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe. The current price is shown at checkout.
- It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel any time from Settings via the billing portal. Cancelling stops future charges; your Pro access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not offer partial-month refunds.
- We never see or store your card details: payment information goes directly to Stripe.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Applyd for anything unlawful,
- attempt to access other users' data or get around usage limits or security measures,
- resell or scrape the service, or use it to send spam of any kind.
7. Ending service
You can stop using Applyd and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. We may also change or discontinue features; if we ever discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export what you need.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Applyd is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it reliable and accurate, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we cannot promise any job search outcome. To the fullest extent the law allows, Applyd's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Changes to these terms
If we make meaningful changes to these terms, we will update this page and the date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Applyd after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
[Placeholder for lawyer review: governing law and venue, for example the state of formation of the operating company.]
